Balıkesir Edremit’te bir apartman dairesinde meydana gelen yangında 1 kişi hayatını kaybetti. Edinilen bilgiye göre, Altınkum Mahallesi Körfez Caddesi üzerinde bulunan Gürpetek Sitesi’nin F2 Blokunda 4 katlı binanın 2. katında saat 12.16 sıralarında yangın çıktı. Yangın kısa sürede tüm binaya yayıldı ve itfaiye ekiplerine ihbar edildi. Olay yerine 3 araç ve 11 itfaiye personeli sevk edildi. Ekiplerin müdahalesi sonucu yangın kontrol altına alındı. Ancak 74 yaşındaki Zahide Demirel yangından etkilendi ve hayatını kaybetti. Yangının çıkış nedeni henüz belirlenmezken, olayla ilgili adli soruşturma devam ediyor.
